About the Role

Retell AI is the leading enterprise Voice AI Agent platform, powering 40M+ minutes of AI calls per month for companies across healthcare, legal, automotive, insurance, and more. We're growing fast and building the infrastructure that makes voice AI accessible to every developer and business.

We're looking for an Integration Engineer to own the full surface area of how Retell connects with the broader developer ecosystem. You will build and maintain integrations with platforms like Cursor, Lovable, Replit, and dozens of others. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where you will directly shape how developers and businesses adopt Retell.

What You'll Do

• Own all integrations between Retell AI and third-party platforms (developer tools, no-code/low-code builders, CRMs, automation tools, and more)
• Build, test, and ship integrations end-to-end, from scoping to production deployment
• Work closely with product and engineering to identify high-impact integration opportunities based on user needs and market demand
• Create and maintain integration documentation, sample projects, and developer guides
• Monitor integration health, debug issues, and iterate based on user feedback
• Stay ahead of the ecosystem: evaluate new platforms, identify partnership opportunities, and move quickly to build where it matters

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• Strong web development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and deep familiarity with working with APIs (REST, webhooks, OAuth)
• Hands-on experience with integration and automation platforms like n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar tools
• A builder mindset: you've taken projects from idea to execution, not just followed specs. You think like a PM when deciding what to build and why.
• Extreme ownership. You don't wait for instructions. You see what needs to happen, you prioritize, and you ship.
• Comfort working at a high-intensity pace in a fast-moving startup. We move quickly and expect the same from everyone on the team.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with voice/telephony APIs (Twilio, Vonage, SIP)
• Familiarity with AI/LLM tooling and developer platforms
• Background in developer relations, solutions engineering, or technical partnerships
• Experience building SDKs, plugins, or developer tools
