This team powers how over 250,000 clinicians get paid, from client billing and insurance claims to managed billing services and payment infrastructure.You’ll partner with senior product and engineering leaders to shape the next generation of financial tools that reduce complexity around insurance, ensure compliance, and make the business of care feel effortless. This role is perfect for a systems thinker who thrives in regulated environments, loves mentoring high-performing teams, and wants to raise the bar for UX across complex workflows.You'll also be accountable for raising the bar on interaction quality and visual clarity across the RCM experience. For every clinician who depends on us, getting paid should feel seamless, smart, and increasingly automated. If you’re someone whose portfolio reflects both visual excellence and systems impact, I want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesDefine and scale the RCM design organization, including structure, staffing plans, rituals, and quality standardsGuide senior cross-functional peers through high-stakes tradeoffs, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely executionDrive adoption of robust design processes (system governance, UX metrics, peer reviews) to scale craft excellenceAdvocate for high-quality design at the exec table and in quarterly strategy forumsLead UX vision, execution, and team development across the RCM domainDrive high-quality design across billing, claims, payments, and eligibility flowsPartner with product and engineering leadership to shape strategy and delivery plansEnsure design excellence across both clinician-facing tools and internal RevOps workflowsChampion accessibility, data transparency, and inclusive design in all financial experiencesIdentify opportunities to automate or simplify high-friction user tasksGuide designers working in highly regulated, infrastructure-heavy systemsRepresent the design org in executive reviews and cross-functional forumsDesired Skills & Experience10+ years in product design, including 5+ at director or senior director level within large-scale, high-complexity domainsDemonstrated success leading design for finance or regulated SaaS platformsFamiliarity with prompt engineering or LLM-powered tools is a plus, especially in the context of automation, eligibility, or financial workflow UX. Ability to partner with Product and Engineering on AI-informed UX strategy and system designDeep expertise in org design and buildout, delivering hiring plans, team structures, leadership development.Proven success scaling design systems, governance models, and quality standards across complex platformsStrong executive presence: comfortable presenting to VP+ audiences, including Commercial, Legal, and Engineering leadershipExcellent cross-functional communicator, especially with Legal, Compliance, and RevOpsPrior experience with billing, claims, or payment tools is a strong plusStrong people leader with a track record of mentoring senior ICs and growing resilient design teamsExperience with Figma, FigJam, and Miro; comfortable in Jira, Notion, and dashboards #LI-RemoteBase Compensation Range$220,000 - $240,000 annuallyBase salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition.
