We are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Account Executive with a track record of success selling cyber security software into CISO / CIO / Information Security / IT departments. This will be the second hire on Optery for Business’ sales team.
You will sell Optery for Business personal data removal software subscriptions to enterprises covering their employees and executives, and their own customers (https://www.optery.com/business/), and also craft partnerships with leading cybersecurity companies who wish to integrate with Optery for Business’ API.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and manage relationships with enterprise clients to drive revenue growth
Identify new sales opportunities and develop plans to pursue them
Implement strategies and tactics to source leads
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Optery's products and services
Collaborate with other team members (e.g. marketing, product, customer support, customer success) to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with overall company goals
Help improve Optery’s processes and procedures in internal SOPs and instruction sets
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure that the sales team is using the most effective strategies and tactics
Represent Optery at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new business leads
Work with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive new business
Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients
Travel to customer meetings as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
Track record of professional success and achievement
At least 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of and quota attainment
2+ years in the cybersecurity or data privacy industry is strongly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with enterprise-level clients
Analytical and data-driven, with experience using sales performance metrics to inform decision-making
Ability to build and maintain relationships with enterprise-level clients
LOCATION
Optery is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, but operates as a fully-remote global team. This job requires a candidate to be located in the United States. While not required, candidates in the New York City area can work hybrid (3-4 days a week) in an office environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$65K - $100K Base + on target bonus = $160K - $300K OTE
