We are currently expanding our Infrastructure Team and could use your
expertise. If you’re looking for the next challenge in DevOps, you might have
just found it.
This will be your arena:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will help us build our infrastructure by setting up
our infrastructure lifecycle, creating training material, analyzing current
system usage, and identifying specific improvement opportunities.
Additionally, you will delve into topics related to automation, monitoring,
and performance optimization.
You will also manage our infrastructure deployment and monitoring process.
You will be responsible for infrastructure onboarding and handling a portion
of our inbound system requests and tickets.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on server level.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging systems to ensure system health and performance.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Develop/manage/automate code deployment and ensure smooth integration.
- Fix infrastructure issues, troubleshooting, and platform optimizations.
- Maintain our tech knowledge base and manuals.
- Innovate our infrastructure.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Continuously optimize system performance and resource utilization.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Work in agile and iterative development processes.
This is You:
- You care about your infrastructure and strive for excellence.
- Well-written and spoken English; fluency in German, French, or other languages is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and tech-minded with a good sense of humor.
- Experienced with SaaS companies.
- Experienced with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure Management.
- Highly motivated to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup atmosphere with a flat hierarchy
- Able to work fully autonomously.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience.
- Availability for remote work within UTC-1 to UTC+3 time zones, accommodating Berlin time +/- 2 hours.
Technical Expertise:
- Experience with server management (VPS & Bare Metal).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge in tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation would be nice but it's not a must.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience with GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Containerization: Proficient in Docker.
- Scripting Languages: Skills in PHP, Bash, Python etc.
- Version Control: Experience with Git.
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or Checkmk.

- Problem-Solving: Strong skills in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Documentation: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
