At Dill, we are revolutionizing payments for the construction industry. The construction industry is known for its multitude of stakeholders and complexity of payment workflows and dynamics. Some of the most important stakeholders in the industry, trade contractors and suppliers, are often the last to get paid. We are issuing in an era of newfound cash flow and growth for these folks in the $1T construction industry.

As our second key hire in sales, you are a founding member of the team. You’ll be joining a second-time founder with a previous exit in construction tech and a YC-backed company that has exciting traction.

Responsibilities

  • You will drive growth by generating new business opportunities through various methods of outreach like email, phone call, LinkedIn, in-person events, etc. You will think out of the box in terms of other methods to reach our customers more creatively
  • This is a phone heavy role given the nature of our industry – you will make 100+ outbound calls per day
  • You will help develop and experiment with different outbound campaigns and scripts
  • You will collaborate with the founder & CEO and Head of Growth to execute and continuously iterate on our playbook
  • You will be expected to achieve a monthly quota and communicate feedback and learnings that will drive product and growth iterations

Qualifications

  • You’re hungry, driven, self-described “cockroach.” This isn’t a role for the faint of heart. As a founding member of the team, you’re willing to grind on what will be an exhilarating yet rewarding journey
  • You’re scrappy and resourceful. You’ll meet the customer wherever they are and find ways to reach them creatively 
  • You’re comfortable with managing a large volume of contacts, dealing with competing demands, and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • You’ve previously demonstrated excellence and “overachieved” in B2B sales roles, preferably the construction industry (bonus points if you own a hard hat!). You’ve continuously exceeded quotas in previous roles
  • You have exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • You’re passionate about bringing innovation and efficiency into one of the oldest school industries that forms the backbone of our world today
