Lokion is seeking full-time contractors to join our Mapping team based in Memphis, TN.

The Mapping Designer role is responsible for production of interactive venue maps. Mapping Designers are able to draw from architectural files of various formats according to strict standards and guidelines, perform tasks with speed and accuracy, and thrive in a deadline driven environment.

This position is best suited to designers and creatives who can also boast technical and critical thinking skills, are efficient and versed in the tools we use, are highly detail oriented, and consider organization a personal strength.

Experience with Adobe Illustrator is required. Candidates will be asked to supply some samples of their work for review and should be prepared to take a short skill assessment during their interview.

If hired, there will be a training period where candidates will learn the ins and outs of our workflow and have their work and progress evaluated.

The ability to read HTML/XML/CSS is nice to have, but not a requirement.

This is a full time temporary contract position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Art, Design, or equivalent experience in a related field

• Comfortable working in a Windows PC Environment

• Work and maintain availability via slack during normal business hours

• Attend occasional meetings using voice or video conferencing software

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator

Pluses

• Ability to read or experience working with HTML/XML/CSS is a plus.
