Role Overview

A hands-on, full-time remote position building scalable services that power decentralized applications. You will work at the intersection of Web3 engineering and high-load distributed systems, directly impacting blockchain innovation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate with EVM and Solana blockchains using relevant libraries and frameworks
• Process blockchain data and interact with smart contracts
• Index on-chain events
• Develop backend services and SDKs using Node.js/TypeScript
• Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, gRPC, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure
• Deliver production-grade code with strong test coverage and documentation
• Monitor and debug production systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews
• Collaborate across protocol, frontend, data, and DevRel teams
• Establish best practices and improve engineering culture

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development experience with Node.js/TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, databases, messaging, and cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in modern testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Sinon)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• High code quality standards and engineering best practices
• Fluent Russian (internal communication) and confident English (technical discussions)

Nice to Have

• Hands-on Web3 experience with EVM/Solana, smart contracts, and transactions
• Ability to read Solidity and understand smart contracts
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and products
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Experience with alternative runtime ecosystems (C#, JVM, Go)
