Responsibilities As a machine learning engineer at Aristander, you will:

• Build cutting-edge, real-time models that push the SoTA forward for price optimization
• Manage 10s to 100s of millions of dollars in revenue - your models will have direct consequences for our clients
• Create and implement ways to validate model performance (e.g. how can you show that your model is better than a human when there is a finite resource?)
• Code with confidence, collaborating with the team to create and maintain continuous builds, tests, debugging tools and a constructive code-review process.

• Have prior experience working with Python, xgboost and PyTorch, or similar machine learning libraries.
• Understand machine learning fundamentals at a deep level
• Are familiar with gaussian processes or Bayesian statistics
• Value autonomy and taking ownership of a project
• Have experience designing, implementing, and deploying scalable data-driven systems.
• Are constantly thinking about how to make something better and enjoy real-world feedback on your job performance
• You’re really good at Street Fighter II
• Bonus points if you have experience with full stack engineering
