Superorder is the fastest, easiest, cheapest way for a restaurant to make money online. Superorder makes it easy to set up a virtual restaurant and run a restaurant’s online delivery business. Our mission is to become the off-premise (delivery, takeout, drive-thru) operating system for SMB restaurant owners. Off-premise and digital sales are booming and Superorder will become the technology backbone for SMB restaurants. Within 19 months of launch, Superorder has grown to over 1000+ restaurants across the country processing over 1M+ orders.

Why Superorder?

Engineering is at the heart of everything we do. As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be a key member of a fast-moving product team that is focused on building out the modern restaurant operating system, including delivery tablet aggregation, AI-generated websites, review management, and much more. You will help lead the architecture and technical execution of the new product investments that will define the future of Superorder and SMB restaurants across the country.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Deliver impact and technical excellence: Ship high quality product quickly and design robust architectures that power the operations of SMB restaurants
• Help define the product roadmap: Work with our engineering leadership and GTM teams to define new product features and iterate on feedback from users
• Contribute to team growth + culture: Drive our culture of empowerment, ownership, and fun throughout the team

Our ideal candidate

• Has 3+ years of Python software engineering experience
• Has experience in frontend development using React
• Craves a fast-paced, high-impact work environment; we expect to move quickly and ship often
• Has experience in building software projects from end to end (project formation + planning to building CI/CD pipelines and productionization)
• Can architect and engineer robust solutions amidst ambiguity (i.e. is able to take an idea/feature from zero to one)
• Has a product-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering great products for customers

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following skills are nice to have:

• Experience in the AWS Serverless Stack (Lambda, State Functions, etc)
• Experience/familiarity with high-scale, distributed systems
• Experience working in a fast-paced engineering culture
