That work can be seen in a range of digital and social channels, including the Webby Award–winning NYCgo.com; across key programs like NYC Restaurant Week®; and through partnerships with leading tourism and hospitality organizations at home and worldwide. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Candidate will be comfortable iterating existing creative / campaigns and have opportunities to develop new creative.  

• Candidate will approach everything from a design and storytelling POV and be eager to take on new challenges or learn new skills for a project. The same is expected of all team members.  

• Candidate should possess the ability to work in a variety of mediums and disciplines.  

• Candidate will work with and report directly to the Senior Designer and to the CD of Design and Animation, with the support of Project Management. 

• We’re looking for someone with a great eye for design and a keenness to develop their craft. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every criteria. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• A bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent years in experience 

• At least one-year experience at an agency or in-house creative team 

• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign 

• Bonus points for experience with After Effects, Premiere, Figma / Sketch 

• An eagerness to learn and expand on existing skills 

• A strong eye for layout and design, with excellent typography skills 

• Comfortable with versioning for multiple specifications and handling file management 

• Able to work independently and collaborate within a team environment 

• Effective communication and the ability to meet tight deadlines are critical
