As a BD Manager, you will train and coach the BD team to improve performance and generate qualified opportunities. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to enhance account targeting and engagement strategies.

Oversee the training and development of BDR team members, ensuring they excel in creating qualified leads. Coordinate with the Business Development Director and Sales teams to refine opportunity management processes and improve account development strategies and work in partnership with Marketing to tailor outbound messaging and campaigns.

Who you are:

  • You bring 1+ years of business development management experience, with a strong emphasis (75%+) on outbound strategies
  • You have a proven track record of selling B2B SaaS technical products, with 4+ years of individual contributor (IC) experience in technical sales
  • Your ability to understand and analyze data allows you to craft insightful prospecting strategies that drive results
  • Exceptional spoken and written English skills are your forte, enabling you to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for technical products is essential, and leadership experience is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM software, particularly Salesforce and Hubspot, is a must
  • You are an expert in using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and Outreach to enhance your business development efforts
  • Your enthusiasm for technology and a keen interest in IoT set you apart
  • You embody and work in alignment with our core values

Responsibilities:

  • Train other members of the BDR team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities
  • Ensure BDR team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring weekly 1:1s
  • Plan for hiring and onboarding new BDRs
  • Work closely with the Events and Demand Gen teams on Field events and targeted ad and nurture campaigns
  • Work closely with the Director of Business Development to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
  • Work closely with Sales, Business Development Director, as well as the Regional Sales AEs to identify key company accounts to develop
  • Work in collaboration with Content, Demand Gen and Product Marketing to develop effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned accounts
