As an event technology company, high-performing operations are the heart of the value that we deliver to our clients. We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Chief of Staff who will be responsible for owning, building and strengthening our relationships with these clients. You will use our admin dashboard and be on the front lines of constantly iterating and refining the outputs of our AI models to ensure the venue and vendor sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and payments are handled smoothly.

A successful candidate will be able to set the vision for the client and the team. You must have a role model service mentality, strive for operational improvements and efficiency, and possess the experience and skills to manage a team effectively at scale.

💼 What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Strategic Clients Relationships: Partner with Executive Assistants, Chief of Staffs, and Event Planners at our clients’ companies at both the strategic and tactical levels, working with them to define their needs and ensure our work is achieving their goals.
  • Systems Thinking: Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains, and scope new processes when needed. Be relentlessly curious, creative and proactive in implementing solutions to critical issues. Seek cross-cutting improvements to systems to improve the team. While some process innovations will not require new technology, others will; you will partner with Engineering and Product on the product roadmap to make sure our clients’ needs are being met and exceeded.
  • Finance Ops: Develop and implement strategies that drive growth and profitability. Manage bookkeeping and accounting, and owning the financial cycles for the book of clients. Conduct financial modeling & forecasting to support key business decisions. Own company’s regular financial reporting needs.

  • Experience building and managing financial models, comfortable with data analysis in spreadsheets, managing complex formulas and building processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in the event planning space.
  • A passion for events and bringing people together.
  • A strong bias for action and will to succeed; highly resourceful.
  • A history of or a desire to work in a high-growth, rapidly-evolving startup.
  • Adaptability and are comfortable amidst ambiguity, changing directives, and rapidly evolving market conditions.
  • A reputation for being a hard working, no-ego, no-politics, honest, and accountable team player who constantly raises the bar and is passionate about making an impact.

  • Working Times: US (PST) Hours
  • Must be based in San Francisco
  • $100K-$150K
  • 0.25% - 1% equity
