Why: We aren’t visual communicators (but we are a venture studio!) and are looking for a thought partner to help communicate our text-heavy strategies in a visual way.

What: Your job is to create the wireframes / gray box versions of slides and entire decks, in collaboration with our in-house Fundraising Strategist + Storyteller, to then hand off to our brand designer. You will be directly assisting the efforts to raise tens of millions in funds.

Requirements

• You have either a formal education in visual/graphic design, or 3+ years doing layouts or editorial design in a professional capacity

• You are prolific with figma and slideware

• You have editorial layouts and infographics to show in your portfolio

• You can hop on a call and riff with our two Investment Partners about what they want to see (experience

• You overlap with North American timezones for at least part of the day

• You must be super patient with non-designers and be able to explain your designs to non-visual thinkers e.g. “here are 3 variations, choose this if you want to focus on X, or this if you want to communicate Y”

Skills

• You understand and have worked building fundraising decks, pitch decks, and other types of decks that are used to raise capital

• You have an elite command of type-hierarchy

• You have the ability to understand the ‘point’ of a slide and communicate it without words

• You have to understand the process downstream from you (e.g. what the visual designer is going to be doing) you don’t have to do the visual design but can create wireframes that the visual designer can work with.

• You can envision and execute on multiple layouts for various slides
