Build open-source frameworks/demos on the Sessions API, run experiments on which models/prompts/harnesses actually work, build evals against real scenarios, and work with customers shipping agents to production. Design and operate the systems Steel runs on. Sample projects: VM snapshotting that restores full browser state in under a second, performance-tuning the Sessions API from kernel traces, orchestrating millions of sessions with sub-second cold starts. Distributed-systems experience, strong AWS/GCP and Linux/OS fundamentals. Rust is a plus.
