We're crafting an AI Sales agent to fully automate outbound sales.

Our vision goes beyond traditional outbound prospecting; we're crafting intelligent agents capable of understanding business contexts, identifying the best leads, and engaging them with personalized outreach until we secure a meeting.

We're off to a great start - we've gone from 0 to 40 customers in 4 months, with customers all over the world.

By blending the adaptability of agencies with the scalability of SaaS, we're introducing a new kind of business model: the AI-assisted service.

The Role

We're creating a pioneering new position: the AI Agent Engineer.

This role sits at the intersection of Data Science and Software Engineering. As an AI Agent Engineer, you'll develop and deploy autonomous AI agents that drive entire processes.

What are AI agents?

They are programs (Python-based in our case) powered by LLMs.

They’re designed to collect information, make decisions, and take actions to accomplish specific tasks.

These agents are equipped with tools such as web scrapers, database querying capabilities, and API integrations.

They utilize LLMs to interpret contexts and generate structured responses to execute complex workflows with little or no human intervention.

What You'll Work On

LLM Techniques

• Model Selection: work with different LLMs including models from OpenAI, Anthropic, LLama, Mistral, and SLMs.
• Prompt Engineering: Craft and optimize effective prompts.
• Build LLM application: using frameworks like Langchain
• LLM Evaluation: Design metrics to evaluate the relevance of prompts and models. Optimize based on those metrics
• Synthetic Data Generation, Fine-Tuning and Distillation: Create dataset for fine tuning small models that will perform as well as bigger models.

Information Retrieval

• Data Scraping: Automate the extraction of valuable data from diverse web sources to fuel our models.
• RAG and Embedding: Implement retrieval-augmented generation and embedding techniques to enrich model responses with contextual accuracy.
• Database Management: Use various database forms, including SQL, vector, graph databases, and data lakes.

AI Agent Development

• AI Orchestration: Coordinate complex AI agent workflows using frameworks like LangGraph or Autogen.
• Agent Tools: Develop agent tools based on external APIs to enhance AI agent capabilities.

Other Data Science Techniques

• Machine Learning on Tabular Data
• Sentiment Analysis

• Please Note: This role focuses on practical application and does not involve developing new deep learning models or conducting theoretical research.

Example of projects you will be working on

• Design an AI agent that identifies and qualifies the most relevant leads for specific use cases
• Create a reward model for evaluating lead quality and email effectiveness
• Develop an autonomous web scraper that discovers, extracts, and structures online information
• Construct and maintain a comprehensive knowledge graph of business information
• Implement an adaptive lead prioritization system to optimize outreach strategies

Your profile

We're not expecting candidates to have prior experience as AI Agent Engineers - the field is too new for that.

Instead, this position offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow at the bleeding edge of AI technology.

You'll work directly with Leonard, the CTO and tap into our network within the GenAI community in Paris and San Francisco, learning from those shaping the future of AI agents.

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds an Engineering degree with a specialization in Data Science
• Demonstrates strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Embodies a hands-on, delivery-oriented mindset
• Is passionate about AI and curious about what is happening in the ecosystem
• Can balance rapid delivery with the occasional deep dive into scientific papers
• Is prepared to go the extra mile in pursuit of exceptional outcomes
• Is based in Paris
