Climatiq is a climate tech startup on a mission to drive climate action through data and insight. Our team of entrepreneurs, technologists, and scientists, who joined us from Google, MIT, PIK Potsdam and other backgrounds are building a tech platform to empower organisations to take action in tackling the climate crisis. We are building an open-data solution for developers to automatically measure greenhouse gas emissions and consequently act upon robust data and insight. Our flexible tracking API can be integrated into software that businesses already use to accurately calculate and continuously monitor greenhouse gas emissions. We are headquartered in Berlin and backed by renowned international VCs and advisors in the climate-tech and software sector. Job Description We are now looking for an ambitious Founders Associate to join our team in Berlin or remotely. In this new role, you will work closely with our founders and executive team to scale our commercial efforts and drive revenue growth. You'll be helping our Go-to-Market team source and target the right customer leads, as well as working with our growth and product marketing teams to shape our strategies based on customer data and insights. This is an ideal role for an energetic recent graduate or professional looking to build a career in sales or a related commercial function. Responsibilities:

  • Researching customer leads, personas and segments
  • Creating target customer segments and building lead lists
  • Drafting targeted outbound messaging and connecting with potential customers using email, LinkedIn or other channels
  • Setting up initial meetings and drafting follow-ups
  • Supporting leadership with industry analyses and insights
  • Working with senior management on planning and executing special projects
  • Creating targeted sales collateral with marketing and sales
  • Initial experience in a customer-facing role
  • Exceptional level of attention to detail and structured work
  • Commercial mindset, business degree (or similar) a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Flawless interpersonal skills: you can empathise, earn trust, and influence stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity in a startup environment
  • Technical understanding is a plus

  • Location: Berlin or Remote within +/- 2 hours of CET timezone
  • Starting date: as soon as possible
  • 6 months contract
