The Role:
In this hybrid role and as Matium’s Lead UI/UX Designer, you’ll be changing the way people interact with the physical supply chain for decades to come. Your mission is to incentivize users through gamification to move more, make more, and trade more with Matium. Your ability to accelerate the user through their journey to fulfilling their customer’s demand will be imperative to the success of Matium. Responsibilities:
Lead the design of our applications with a focus on gamification, creating a highly intuitive, engaging and visually compelling product.
Work with a cross-functional team to translate business requirements into simple, easy to understand solutions and concepts.
Develop a design system along with standards and best practices. Create user flows, user journeys, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototypes and style guides.
Conduct discovery calls, user research and user testing to uncover pain points and opportunities for improvement. Be an advocate for the customer and provide input on the prioritization of new features and enhancements.
Foster a culture of design excellence and apply innovative design thinking to not only meet users’ needs but exceed their expectations.
What You Bring:
A portfolio that showcases your prowess in UI/UX design, with a strong emphasis on projects that have successfully integrated gamification elements.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of leading product design projects from conception to implementation.
Expertise in design tools (such as Figma) and proficiency in prototyping tools to bring your visions to life.
Exceptional ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to both team members and leadership.
A relentless pursuit of innovation, combined with a solid understanding of digital design, the latest trends, and technologies.
Experience with responsive web design.
Experience with native mobile app is a plus.
