We’re hiring a Sr. Research Manager
Dost is looking for an excellent researcher and strategic thinker who loves data-driven storytelling and creating strong, compelling narratives. Are you someone who believes in experimenting with research design and data to build evidence of impact? Are you an out-of-the-box thinker who can curate studies beyond large-scalelarge scale impact evaluations ? Are you simple, inspiring, and concise in your communication, ensuring everyone takes away the core message and insights?
If this sounds like you, you may be a great fit to join as Seniorr. Research Manager at Dost. This role reports to the Director of, Research & Operations and will lead all evaluation initiatives, support research communications, and feed insights to improve program design. You’ll work closely across all functions on the team such as content, operations , product, and communications to build evidence of impact for Dost Education.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Research:
Build evidence of program effectiveness by implementing a combination of in-house mixed methods and large-scale impact evaluations. Collaborate with partners and researchers to manage research timelines and budgets to ensure deliverables are met within specified timeframes and resources. Work closely with leadership to strengthen rResearch communication. Summarize technical reports for non-specialist audiences within and outside the organizationn. Lead internal research projects end to end and integrate& Integrate in-house findings with other secondary research to build impact evidence Support other functions to design and implement monitoring mechanisms for productsproduct and operationsoperation to measure stakeholder engagement. Identify and make use of insights from users and stakeholders to improve the program and product
Strategy:
Internalise Dost’s program objectives and priority impact outcomes, design its annual research strategy by recalilaibrating and consolidating current findings and learnings Partner with the fundraisingfund raising and partnership team to develop data-driven communications and compelling impact narratives for proposals Focus on designingdesign and executing the 5-year strategy to strengthen advocacy for responsive caregiving practices towards the vision of making every child school-ready
Management:
Closely work with the Director of - Research in streamlining the M&E processes towardtowards resultsresult and outcomes Aid the leadership into detailingbreakdown the organizational vision intoto annual plans and projects in order to help the research team to achieve goals Support the Director of Research to build the research team and do the resource mapping to meet goals and timelines of research initiatives. Build capacityCapacity building of the research team to ensure the growth and development of research resources
Who can apply?
Passionate about early childhood development At least 5 years of relevant experience Skill(s) required: Strong analytical and research skills, including experience with a variety of mixed research methods. Ability to synthesizesynthesis statistical and academic analysis. Exceptional written and communication skills including the ability to write clear and concise reports, and other research communications. Proven leadership abilities and a people person. Have a growth mindset and , feelfeeling comfortable that your role and responsibilities maycan adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
