About the role

Our products vary from software being integrated into medical devices to cloud based web applications and are being used by both startups and some of the largest device manufacturers in the world. The first thing our users see is the UI. We are looking for a Lead Product Designer who can help bring intuitive and simple designs into our products, both existing and new. MedCrypt is looking for a product designer and UX expert with a cybersecurity background to help shape our products, where they will be closely working with engineers and product managers to help bring the best designs forward.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design user experiences for existing and new products
• Iterate on high-fidelity mock-ups in Figma
• Develop the holistic visual identity of all the products
• Engage with customers, product, and engineering teams to improve user experiences
• Lead a major product redesign and establish design ethos across all products
• Work with Product and Engineering to establish Discovery process

Experience and Qualifications

• Extensive experience in product design
• Strong experience designing for complex, technical systems
• Strong Figma or similar experience
• Experience working on multiple products

• Technical - you don’t need to be an engineer, but you’re comfortable with the software and cybersecurity
• At ease speaking with engineers - not just about cybersecurity, but about infrastructure, authorization, and more. If you’re not familiar with a subject, you’re eager to learn
