We are seeking a highly-skilled engneering manager with a storied history in the technological sector. You will assist in making executive technology decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a technology budget and making investments to align the company with its vision for its technological needs. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development. You will work directly under the CTO and will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Driving performance, efficiency and effectiveness of engineering and product development team • Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage. • Oversee all technology operations on the ground and evaluate them according to established goals. • Devise and establish tech policies and systems alongside the CTO to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management. • Analyse the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs. • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency. • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management. • Managing in-house engineering team, contracted development partners, and head the integrations of partner API's to our platform. • Constantly track performance in order to maintain the productivity of the team. Should work closely with developers, understanding where they are finding success, and where they need work. • Building a technology leadership team that can expertly manage their own teams, develop a strong and focused culture, and be responsive to the organisation’s needs • Assist with budget and report on expenditure.

REQUIREMENTS: • Master degree in computer science or software technology • 8-10 years software industry experiences • 3-4 years engineering leadership role with experience in recruitment and retention. Hands-on technologies AWS (ESC, RDS, IAM), node.js/typescript for backend and frontend , postgresql , flutter or mobile development with swift or kotlin , github, CI/CD , Jira, security design, REST • Managing the entire SDLC (solution design, testing, deployment, SRE)
