Job Description  We are now looking for an ambitious Head of Sales to join our team in Berlin or remotely. In this new role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing a winning sales strategy for a new product in an emerging market, sourcing and closing deals to drive revenue growth, and paving the way for building a team of Account Executives. You are a strategic thinker with a hunter mindset, comfortable with negotiating complex deals and understanding customer needs inside out. Your passion for technology will be crucial, as you’ll be working with a technical product designed for a tech-savvy audience. You will join an international, experienced team of climate scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs to build the next unicorn. Responsibilities:

  • Own the sales strategy and tactics as well as the operational deal pipeline
  • Develop and manage a sales playbook to drive ambitious growth
  • Proactively seek out and close new deals
  • Analyse sales data for insights and improvements, prepare forecasts and KPI reports
  • Develop deep knowledge of our tech products
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering and management to ensure alignment of product development according to customer needs
  • Establish and foster long-lasting relationships with key customers
  • Proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth in an enterprise SaaS startup or scaleup environment, selling technical products to tech-savvy buyers
  • 4+ years in full-cycle inbound and outbound sales
  • Results driven: A “closer”, with a track record of exceeding quota
  • Strong technical/SaaS expertise to effectively sell technology products
  • Demonstrated understanding of core business priorities and KPIs, with the ability to think creatively and with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, both at the strategic and tactical level
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (e.g. Product, Marketing, and Customer Success)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data to back up assumptions
  • Experience in sales team leadership and mentorship
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high level of ambiguity

  • Location: Berlin or Remote within +/- 2 hours of CET timezone
  • Starting date: as soon as possible
