Syrona Health is a digital health platform developing Enterprise software for life-stage specific healthcare conditions. We serve Corporates, Employee Benefits Brokers and Health Insurers. Our initial focus was on women's health but we are now expanding to men's health. We provide personalised telemedicine, diagnostics , tracking and community support.

The Role We are looking for a Head of Engineering to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

You should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Responsibilities

Oversee front-end and back-end development teams and their projects Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements Ensure compliance with security regulations Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines Prepare and manage the engineering department’s budget Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources Hire engineers and coordinate their training Implement innovative technologies Coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools

Requirements and skills Proven work experience as a Full stack developer In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment) Hands on experience with programming languages like Django and React Native Experience using Jira Working knowledge of CMS framework Excellent analytical and time management skills Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field is desirable but not essential
