Job Description:
We're looking for a dynamic Head of Growth and Marketing to drive our marketing efforts and relaunch our real estate investment product. You'll lead initiatives across paid growth channels, digital strategies, website and social media enhancements, and public relations. This role requires a visionary with a solid marketing and advertising background who is ready to fully own our marketing strategy from conception to execution. This position is not just a job—it's a mission for a determined leader eager to shape our marketing from the ground up with urgency, persistence, and hands-on involvement.
Responsibilities
Growth (70% of Role):
● Develop and manage our paid Meta strategy, focusing on tech company software engineers, and extending to high-net-worth personas (e.g., doctors, entrepreneurs).
● Ability to communicate headwinds, tailwinds & new opportunities to relevant team members based on knowledge and experience of how paid media initiatives behaves (i.e. projecting CPC increases of X% due to holiday Black Friday Cyber Monday).
● Deep understanding on all elements of paid media campaigns and how they translate to SQLs.
● Ability to audit the marketing funnel, implement rigorous A/B testing, and optimize.
● Research and implement growth programs by analyzing competitors and related industries to select and execute the most effective strategy for HomeRoom.
● Manage all aspects of our growth marketing efforts, including paid social and search, while driving creative strategies in collaboration with design partners.
● Lead data-driven experiments to enhance our understanding of customer conversion paths and explore new marketing channels based on data insights.
● Maintain resilience and innovation in identifying new growth opportunities despite potential setbacks in experimentation.
● Interface with Sales to iterate and leverage real-time insights from the market to create compelling and relevant lead-gen messaging
Marketing (30% of Role):
● Create and manage a content calendar across major platforms with defined themes.
● Oversee a comprehensive marketing plan, managing budgets for leads, advertising, and creative outputs.
● Strategically reduce cost per SQL by blending growth marketing and content strategies to enhance ad efficiency and conversion rates.
● Initiate and manage two new lead-generating marketing programs in 2024.
● Monitor and manage HomeRoom’s online reputation on platforms like Reddit and BiggerPockets.
● Lead and expand a team of marketing contractors covering various functions including web design, copywriting, email marketing, and growth.
Skills Required:
● Proficient in growth marketing tools and tactics on platforms like Meta and Google.
● Comprehensive skills in media buying, ad creation, optimization, and performance tracking.
● Expertise in paid search, paid social, UX/UI design, email marketing, direct response copywriting, content marketing, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization.
● Ability to identify, edit, and occasionally write compelling copy.
● Commitment to reliability, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards of excellence.
● Adaptability in fast-paced environments, embracing challenges and changes with a proactive approach.
Preferred:
● Experience or a keen interest in real estate investing, with familiarity in industry terminologies like house hacking and BRRR strategies.
