SimpleX Chat is a privacy-first, fully open-source, secure messaging platform. It is the first, and currently the only, messaging platform that does not have any kind of user identity in its design (not even random numbers) - it uses anonymous pairwise identifiers instead.

Product designer

We are looking for an experienced and innovative product and visual designer to join the team and to take ownership of the user experience and the interface of both the app and the website.

We believe it should be a full time job, and not a one-off contract – the product is complex and continues to evolve, and also the designer needs to have a deep understanding of our users.

The current focus of the app is privacy and security, but we hope to have the design that would support the feeling of psychological safety, enabling people to achieve the results in the smallest amount of time.
