We are hiring an OTC Options Trader to join Binance OTC business team. The team is responsible for spot and derivatives OTC trading desk, agency execution, and API liquidity solutions. The OTC Options Trader will be part of a fast growing business, fast-paced environment, and play a key role in expanding the volumes and revenue of the trading desk.Must be in Europe or MENA time zone. The expected tasks will be, but not limited to:

• Monitor open positions and risk of the options book, perform trade hedge executions, and optimize the collateral/margin requirements.

• Provide OTC spot and derivatives desk coverage during EMEA hours by operating the trade executions and settlements.

• Work closely with the VIP sales team, and directly engage with external clients during OTC transactions lifecycle.

• Work closely with other traders and research team to continuously optimize PnL and hedging strategies.

• Work closely with trade operations and back-office teams to ensure accurate trade booking and reconciliations.

• Support the business strategy analysis and product design of new services, and perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the business.

Requirements:

• Strong academic track record, preferably in an Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent degree.

• 5+ years of relevant trading experience in financial derivatives. Good understanding of the OTC trade lifecycle, OTC pricing and execution methods, and the different roles of exchanges, liquidity providers, prime brokers, etc.

• Solid grasp on risk/ portfolio management and options pricing models.

• Thorough understanding of market microstructure and hedging strategies.

• Knowledge of trading systems and execution algorithms.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Self-motivated and highly independent.

• Strong communication skills to proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders across different cultures and geographies.

• Ability to work with Python and SQL.

• Experience/interest in the crypto/DeFi industry is a big plus.
