HYBRID OPPORTUNITY (3 DAYS ONSITE)

As a Mid-Level Designer at Evenflo, you will work collaboratively as a part of a dynamic team delivering design excellence across a variety of juvenile categories. The role is responsible for balancing useability, creativity, and functionality while working to innovate in the juvenile space and beyond thru rapid visualization of concepts, use case and usability. Through collaboration, the Designer will help our product teams build Blue Sky concepts, feed Advanced Development ideation and in-line concepting that will kickstart our research efforts and populate our product roadmap.

Requirements:

BFA or BS with concentration in Industrial Design
3+ years of experience in product development
High quality Sketch skills (Hand sketch, Sketchbook Pro or similar)
Strong Conceptual Design iteration experience
Proficient in Key shot or similar render platforms.
CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks (Creo, Rhino are a bonus)
Mechanically intuitive with a basic understanding of engineering theories


Responsibilities:

Work with the design leader, fellow designers and marketing peers to innovate and develop design concepts for research and advanced development concepts across various juvenile categories.
Work with project teams to develop initial concepts samples for research validation and beyond into buildable solutions, ensuring that design intent is maintained throughout the design evolution process.
Develop graphic and sketch visualizations for design presentations and proposals.
Conduct and lead design research to inform project design possibilities.
Render ideas into presentation quality, realistic images
Explore CMF possibilities and bring new materials and unique treatments to the team.

Things we value, but are not required to apply:

Experience of ASTM standards, specifically in the juvenile space
Advanced CAD surfacing
Experience with AI platforms for experimental design concepting
