About the role
Apheris is looking for a highly motivated IT Administrator to support our remote employees. On this position you will be responsible for building a great onboarding experience for new employees, troubleshooting technical issues and assist on our compliance and security needs to maintain our customer's trust. You will get exposure to the latest cloud, IT and security technologies. This is a wide role in a fast-paced environment that requires some level of autonomy and excellent organizational and communication skills. Finally, we are also looking for a team player on a mission to solve humanity's greatest challenges.
What you will do
- Helpdesk support for our employees so they can perform their day-to-day tasks, including resolving software and hardware problems and replacements
- Technical onboarding and offboarding our remote employees
- Purchasing, configuring and delivering employee equipment such as laptops and hardware keys
- Office 365 day to day administration
- License management for tools such as password manager, version control tools etc.
- Rollout mobile device management capabilities, MDM and anti-malware solutions
- Assist on our compliance evidence collection
- Maintain an inventory of company assets, systems and peripherals
- Hardening and patch management of our corporate devices and systems
You should apply if
- You are curious and willing to learn new skills
- Interest in privacy and security
- 3 years work experience in a similar role or graduated in Telecommunications or with an IT Engineering degree or Master or relevant IT certifications
- Great communication and troubleshooting skills
- Some knowledge of Windows Operating Systems / Microsoft Office (365) / MacOs / Linux up to a support or basic admin level
- Able to operate successfully in a fast-paced organization
- Fluent in English
- Based in Berlin (option to work partly remote)

Logistics
Our interview process is split into three phases:
- Initial Screening: If your application matches our requirements, we invite you to an initial video call to explore the fit. In this 30 minutes interview, you will get to know us and the role. The interviewer will be interested in your relevant experiences and skills, as well as answer any question on the company and the role itself that you may have.
- Deep Dive: In this phase, a domain expert from our team will assess your skills and knowledge required for the role by asking you about meaningful experiences or your solutions for specific scenarios in line with the role we are staffing.
- Leadership Interview: In this phase, the area leader will assess organization and cultural fit.
