Hey đź‘‹ Thanks for stopping by and checking our job listing.

We’re on the hunt for a Senior UI/UX Designer who thrives in transforming concepts and ideas into visually appealing and user-friendly applications. You’ll play a crucial role in our team, bringing a blend of artistic design and practical user experience. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, creative, and ready to take on the challenge of elevating our brand’s digital footprint.

The Opportunity

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for our digital products and platforms. Your expertise in user-centric design principles and proficiency in design tools will be vital in shaping the user experience and driving engagement with our products. You will have the autonomy to perform your role while reporting directly to the Head of Product.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • You can demonstrate a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take ownership, and be reliable. You can manage your work weekly, consistently deliver high-quality material on time, and demonstrate above-average productivity.

  • A Seasoned UI/UX Expert: With 5+ years under your belt, you have a strong UX/UI design background and a portfolio of critical projects delivered in past years to showcase your role on the project, the deliverables responsible, and the successes achieved.

  • Figma Savvy: You’re not just familiar with Figma; you excel in it, using it as your primary tool for creating stunning designs.

  • A Great Communicator: Fluent in English, you can easily articulate your ideas and collaborate effectively with a team.

  • User-Centered Design: Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and interaction design concepts.

  • Visual Design: Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, layout, and color theory, and the ability to create designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Prototyping and Wireframing: Ability to create prototypes and wireframes to communicate design ideas and interactions effectively.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to break down complex problems and deliver real-world business outcomes while handling changing priorities.

  • A Growth-Oriented Individual: Always eager to learn and adapt, you’re looking for a place where you can evolve and contribute meaningfully over the long term.

  • SaaS Product Design: You have at least one experience as a UI/UX designer working on a world-class SaaS product, mainly designing an interface for a web app (excluding websites, mobile apps, etc).

Nice-To-Haves

  • Familiarity with programming and APIs is a plus.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field is preferred.

What Success Looks Like

  • User Satisfaction: High user satisfaction and engagement with our products.

  • Quality Designs: Delivery of high-quality design solutions in a timely manner.

  • Team Collaboration: Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Continuous Improvement: Ongoing improvements to our design processes and user experiences

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to understand project requirements, user needs, and business objectives.

  • Lead the design process for our SaaS platform, from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

  • Prototyping: Work closely with design and tech teams to conceptualise and prototype interface functionality and flows.

  • Polished UI Design: Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive to navigate, and consistent with brand guidelines and design standards.

  • Conduct usability reviews and heuristic evaluations of existing interfaces to identify areas for improvement and optimise the user experience.

  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in UI/UX design, and incorporate innovative design solutions into our projects.

  • Systems Thinking: Collaborate with the team to codify patterns and contribute to the design system.

  • Ongoing Training & Development: We invest in your growth through continuous learning and development opportunities.

  • Growth Opportunities: A growth trajectory that extends upward and outward, encouraging you to follow your passions and learn new skills.

Why you might not be a fit?

  • Unwillingness to roll up your sleeves: we won’t sugarcoat it – working in an early-stage startup is demanding but is also exciting! Our team thrives on a culture where everyone is willing to get their hands dirty to build Testfully, shape the product, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

  • Uncomfortable with uncertainty: early-stage startups are dynamic and fast-paced environments. Priorities may shift frequently as we navigate the unpredictable nature of the startup journey.

  • Not okay with real-time feedback: we encourage learning from errors quickly. We give quick and direct feedback. Time is precious; constructive feedback helps us iterate and innovate more efficiently. While our feedback is direct, it is rooted in care, kindness, and a genuine desire for individual and collective growth.
