We’re hiring a highly technical onchain wizard to help lead the company’s expansion in to DeFi, including our upcoming AI dapp.

This is not a traditional role; you’ll be the glue between our product, research, & engineering teams - working with all 3.

About the role:

You’ll enjoy strong autonomy & wear various hats that include:

1. Being the lead researcher on technical DeFi initiatives within the company
2. Keeping a pulse on the latest DeFi trends to ensure our products stay ahead of the curve
3. Contributing to product roadmap & strategy for our onchain products
4. Working alongside our engineering team to assist with onchain technical decision making

The ideal candidate is an onchain generalist that has technical hands-on experience with dapps at the blockchain level while being a native power user themselves

Requirements:

• Strong background in DeFi research; proven success in a similar role or as a solo researcher
• Experience using smart contract libraries such as viem or web3.js
• Strong analytical & data-focused background, including but not bound to: SQL, Dune, Python, & similar
• Good SecOps; understanding of best security practices for smart contracts & onchain dapps
• Terminally online; deeply in tact with crypto culture & defi product trends
• Strong writer that can convert technical research in to more digestible public facing writings

Not required, but a strong bonus:

• Leadership experience at a research firm, venture/trading firm, or high growth web3 company
• General interest / experience with applied AI or applied ML
• Prior commercial experience with smart contract development or security auditing
