About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to drive the visual development of our social app. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Product, who has UI/UX experience, and play a key role in taking the product from beta to launch (and beyond!). If you have a startup background, a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with the Head of Product and development team to understand project challenges and craft effective design solutions.

• Assist the product team in collecting data from user testing, analysing findings, and implementing solutions in collaboration with the product, engineering, and marketing teams.

• Establish and promote efficient workflows with the development team to streamline design implementation.

• Offer constructive feedback and challenge existing ideas to ensure the highest quality outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure consistency across all design elements of the app.

• Ideate, brainstorm, and design innovative solutions to address and overcome design challenges.

• Create detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate design concepts.

Ideal Background:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a background in taking a product from startup to launch, ideally for a social media app.

• Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills and project work.

• Expertise in user research methodologies and usability testing.

• Proficiency in Figma is mandatory.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

• Highly opinionated with a willingness to advocate for the user and challenge the status quo.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Experience:

• Experience with ProtoPie.

• Experience working as a freelancer or in an agency setting.

• Experience working in integrated design and engineering environments.

Location and Work Environment:

The position is remote-friendly, with options to work from our office based in the heart of Soho, London. We offer a flexible work environment that is collaborative, fun, and outcome-driven.
