About This Role

As the lead of the Marketing OPS team, you will be responsible for building and leading the marketing team. This will include overseeing brand marketing, content marketing, social media, PR/Communications, among other areas, while at the same time supporting the Product Marketing efforts in the product team.

In this newly updated role, you will assist in developing the brand, building the team, and allocating resources to serve both short and long-term goals across a range of products and initiatives. The successful applicant will be strategic and creative in equal parts, with a strong understanding of both B2B and B2C user acquisition, user growth and marketing funnels across social, web3 and IRL channels. You should be a self-starter and a strong leader, capable of building a team to execute marketing strategies from the management team for both current and future products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, build, and scale a full marketing team consisting of account managers and event managers to oversee day-to-day operations and deliver on all key company and product objectives.
  • Develop the company’s SendingNetwork and SendingMe brand and presence, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to differentiate and establish a winning value proposition in the market.
  • Strategically allocate resources to maximize impact and return on your team’s marketing efforts across digital, social, field, and other channels, evaluating, selecting, onboarding, and managing external vendors and partners as required.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success team and Creative and Content team to build a robust social and marketing content calendar across all owned and third-party channels.
  • Design and execute on full scope marketing plans to drive user engagement and user growth across all platforms.
  • Own, plan, and execute on an event/sponsorship budget and calendar that meets objectives for key brand and product objectives.
  • Analyze consumer behavior and define target customer personas and segments while finding new ways to connect with target consumers across each of the key product verticals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key collaborators and work with them on promotional activities, content creation, and other opportunities.
  • Assist in honing and developing brand identity, ensuring the brand platform and message is strong and consistent across all channels.
  • Provide in-depth analysis measuring the success of campaigns/tools developing KPIs, communicating results to relevant stakeholders and optimizing the performance.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Communications, or a related major, from a reputable university;
  • 5+ years of experience, 2 years or above experience in a marketing leadership role at an internet Web2/Web3 company;
  • B2C marketing experience with one or more of the following product/service offerings: internet services, creative services (e.g. creative agencies) and marketing services; consumer-focused products/services; blockchain, crypto, and/or NFTs, DEX/CEX;
  • Prior experience building comprehensive marketing programs from the ground up;
  • An understanding and passion for the web 3.0, blockchain, crypto, and NFT spaces;
  • Experience working in an agile environment on consumer-facing software products;
  • Strong knowledge of creative and content production workflows for cross-functional projects;
  • A great collaborator, fantastic at simplifying/clarifying complex concepts, with great leadership abilities that motivate teams to deliver;
  • Experience growing product adoption and defining product differentiation in the marketplace;
  • Strong organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities, workflow, and people;
  • Strong business sense and a commitment to excellence/high standards;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international, dynamic environment;
  • Based in Manila, Philippines.
