About Method

Method is a developer-first API that makes it easy for developers to connect a user's debts and embed debt repayment on their apps. Method works with over 15,000+ financial institutions enabling payments to any type of consumer debt – including credit cards, student loans, car loans, and mortgages – all through a single API. We manage the entire process, including KYC, linking a users debts, and flow of funds, allowing developers to go-live in an evening.

Our mission is to make personal debt management self-driven and autonomous. Method’s APIs empower users to view and pay debts on any platform, making personal debt management financial institution agnostic.

The Day-to-Day

  • Work directly with the CEO to close new enterprise customers ($72k - $240k ACV).

  • Outbound prospecting, which entails finding, pre-qualifying and scheduling discovery calls for account executives. 

  • Sustain a high level of daily outreach activity using multiple platforms (Zoom, Phone, Email, Social)

  • Work directly with the CEO to develop and refine our outbound sales playbook, regularly iterating and experimenting with changes to our sales and broader go-to-market strategy.

  • Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand our competitive landscape.

  • Employ a relationship driven and highly consultative sales approach.

Skills You’ll Need

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or development role at a SaaS company.

  • Ability to quickly develop relationships and establish credibility through consultative needs based conversation.

  • Ability to think on your feet to creatively solve our prospects' business needs.

  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or a comparable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.

  • Strong communication, research, and presentation skills.

Bonus points if you’ve...

  • Experience in Finance / FinTech sales.

  • Experience in API SaaS sales.

  • Worked in a startup and fast paced environment

This is a fully-remote role that may sit anywhere in the United States. You're welcome to work from our Austin or DC office if you're in-region! Full COVID-19 vaccination is required to work from our offices.
