About the Role: As a Technical Product Manager at Alaan, you will play a pivotal role in launching our card payment and expense management product in the Middle East region. You will be responsible for understanding all technical requirements for the launch, including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure needs. Leading a pod of engineers, you will drive the effort to take our product from 0 to 1 in new markets.

Product Leadership: Lead a core team of engineers and designers to build exceptional products that serve thousands of businesses.

Technical Execution: Own the product roadmap, priorities, and execution, focusing on the card payment and expense management product for the Middle East region.

Market Launch: Understand all technical requirements for the product launch and guide the engineering team through the development process.

Customer Focus: Leverage data and customer feedback to iterate and evolve product offerings, ensuring a fantastic user experience.

What You’ll Do:
- Deliver incredible products and experiences by combining a deep understanding of business strategy with creative product strategy and technical expertise.
- Expand the capabilities of our product, helping thousands of companies manage their finances more successfully.
- Utilize data and customer feedback to constantly iterate and improve product offerings.
- Guide and influence small teams of engineers towards common goals.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams to ensure product success.
- Communicate effectively to ensure clear understanding and alignment across all teams.
What You Need:
- Former experience in a technical role e.g., software engineer, devops engineer, etc.
- Strong communication skills in English - written and verbal
- Former product management experience
- Ability to understand customer or regulatory requirements, solutionize and identify product implications, and create user stories
- Experience in evaluating product decisions and managing prioritization trade-offs.
- Proven ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers towards common objectives
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence non-technical colleagues
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence external partners (e.g., system integrators)
- Proficiency in data analysis and making data-driven product decisions.
