Foresight Ventures is a leading venture capital firm focused on blockchain, Web3, and cryptocurrency startups. With over $400 million in assets under management, we aim to drive innovation in decentralized technologies by providing strategic funding and guidance to high-potential projects. We are expanding our team and looking for a driven Investment Partner who is passionate about Web3 and has a proven track record in venture capital or crypto investments.

Responsibilities

As an Investment Partner, you will lead our investment strategy and oversee the full investment lifecycle, from identifying emerging opportunities to driving successful exits. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and refining our investment strategy, aligning it with current and future market opportunities in Web3 and blockchain.
• Sourcing and leading deal origination across early-stage and growth-stage investments, with a focus on high-impact blockchain startups.
• Conducting thorough due diligence: analyzing financials, team strength, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Overseeing the portfolio performance, ensuring strong relationships with founders and co-investors.
• Representing Foresight Ventures at industry events, networking, and building our visibility in the Web3 ecosystem.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Managing exit strategies for successful portfolio companies, ensuring the best returns for the fund.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, ideally with a focus on Web3, crypto, or blockchain.
• A proven track record of successful investments and exits in tech-driven or decentralized markets.
• Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain technology, DeFi, and decentralized systems.
• Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills within the blockchain/crypto community.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields; MBA or a similar advanced degree is a plus.

Compensation

• Base salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience.
• Equity: 0.5% - 1.0% in Foresight Ventures, aligned with the performance and contributions of the role.
• Potential for additional compensation in the form of target-based incentives.

Remote Policy:

We operate on a remote-first model with employees across the globe. This position can be fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Asia-Pacific or Europe time zones, though flexibility is offered for other locations. Our HQ is in Hong Kong, but we welcome talent from anywhere.
