Are you an Industrial Designer that believes that play has the power to change the world?

If so, PlayPower, a world leading manufacturer of playground and recreation equipment, located in Lewisburg, PA., is seeking an Industrial Designer to join our Outdoor Play Concept Design Team. We have a playful collaborative team environment that’s part of a growing company whose direction is set by design and innovation.

The Industrial Designer’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Assist the Concept Design team in developing outdoor play ideas from sketch to final product.
- Researching play.
- Creating play concepts.
- Sketching. Both by hand and digitally.
- Building models. physical and digital.
- Creating communication materials, ie. Concept pitch decks, design presentations.
- Communicating with clarity and participating on multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualified applicants will have or be.
-A Bachelor of Industrial Design. (required)
-Highly motivated designer.
-Excel at ideation and making concepts visible.
-Excel at sketching, physical modelbuilding and 3d modeling.
-Interest and or experience in child development a plus.
-Knowledge of various manufacturing processes also a plus.

- On-site Lewisburg, PA
