We’re seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Lead who’ll serve as a bridge between our customers and our product. This is a unique opportunity to be a high-impact, early member of the Hadrius team. As our first sales hire, you’ll play a critical role in building Hadrius’ sales motion from the ground up. You’ll be focusing first and foremost as an SDR generating leads, but longer term you’ll be acting as parts SDR, AE, Sales Ops, User Researcher, and Sales Enabler - managing your own pipeline, meeting with prospects, close contracts, inform the product roadmap, drive efficiencies across the sales function, and assist in shaping the sales team. You won’t be micromanaged or in constant meetings - we’re focused first and foremost on empowering each other to reach our best performance, and are flexible in the process to get there.


First month:

Become familiar with the core problems Hadrius solves, our ICP, our value proposition, the Hadrius platform, pricing structure, and roadmap. Begin building your pipeline: sourcing leads with support from the rest of the team and our insights / best practices. Shaping and improving current sales processes informed by your previous experiences.

First 3 months:

Closing your first deals, continuing to expand your pipeline and deepening your understanding of customer needs and our offering. Tracking your metrics along with the rest of the team, and contributing to strategy sessions to improve sales velocity and efficiency. Evaluating new candidates that may be added to the sales team.

First 6 months:

Continuing to develop the above skillset, especially your deal velocity (reaching $4k/mo+)
Mentoring new sales team members and supporting them towards a successful trajectory.


  • You have previously worked in a startup software sales role, frequently topping your team in deal velocity.
  • You have experience with sourcing and developing leads, as well as creating a repeatable process to add to your pipeline over time.
  • You are intrinsically motivated and willing to create your own opportunities by proactively seeking opportunities to drive growth (and will be rewarded accordingly).
  • You are excited to “step up” and drive efficiencies across our sales process beyond just your own pipeline.


  • You have previous experience in a Sales or Customer Success role selling to financial firms, or in the compliance industry generally.
  • You have experience hiring and managing BDRs and SDRs, or other Sales and CS roles.
  • You have the depth of knowledge and experience to develop into a sales leadership role, starting with informing improvements to our overall sales process.

We have a strong "revenue-first" culture across our sales and engineering functions. Up until now, the team has been founders-only and we’re looking forward to hiring our first extension of the founding team. As a growing team, we push each other to do our best work by building on top of each other's ideas like reviewing each other's sales calls to deliver actionable feedback. As a fast-growing company, we find joy in dealing with new problems and ambiguity everyday.

We’re a team that is largely remote, but have our main office in New York City on Wall Street. We will frequently get together - either in NYC, or SF, or at a week long Airbnb in some cool location, to work together in-person every 4-6 weeks. Outside of those times, you’re welcome to use the office any time, work from home, or we can set you up with local work accommodations.

We have raised a $2M seed round from Y Combinator, Lynett Capital, and Singularity Capital among others.
