What We Are Looking For: We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Graphic Designer with skills in Motion Graphics and UGC Editing to join our team on a project-based, contract basis. This role offers a consistent freelancing opportunity for a creative professional with a strong artistic flair, a knack for producing engaging visuals, and a passion for digital storytelling, specifically for paid media (Facebook ads, Instagram ads) ad campaigns.
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in graphic design, motion graphics, and UGC editing.
UGC editing experience of 1+ years
Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, including examples of animations, transitions, UGC editing, and static ad designs made for paid social (Facebook ads, Instagram ads, and organic content).
A link to your portfolio is required for consideration.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Figma, and Canva.
Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
Fast turnaround times and a commitment to meeting project deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively within a virtual team environment, including regular communication via Slack and email.
Willingness to participate in a video Zoom interview.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Design and produce engaging motion graphics and animations that align with the brand's identity and campaign goals. This includes creating graphics for paid media ad campaigns on platforms like Facebook (Meta) and Google, focusing on short-form ads between 5-40 seconds.
UGC Ads Cutting: Cut UGC ads for Facebook (Meta), Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring high-quality, engaging storytelling and visual appeal.
Static Design: Create static graphics for social media platforms, including Facebook (Meta), and Instagram.
Ad Framing & Structure: Design content within frames such as Us vs. Them, Before & After, Bullet Points, Features/Benefits Point-Out, and UGC (User-Generated Content).
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement visual campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
Brand Consistency: Develop and maintain a consistent visual brand identity across all social media platforms, ensuring all designs are consistent with the brand’s style, voice, and goals.
Trend & Pattern Awareness: Stay updated with the latest ad trends, patterns, and UGC trends to ensure the content remains relevant and innovative.
Meeting Deadlines: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
What You’ll Bring:
A proven track record of success in graphic design, motion graphics, and UGC editing, with a portfolio to back it up.
Strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva.
A keen eye for design and a deep understanding of digital marketing ad trends and patterns across Meta, Instagram, and TikTok.
An ability to work efficiently on a freelance basis, meeting deadlines and communicating effectively throughout each project.
Strong creative and artistic skills to translate concepts and ideas into engaging and dynamic visual content.
Knowledge of different social media platforms and the types of content that perform well on each.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the content team and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Keen attention to detail to ensure the quality of all visual elements and adherence to brand guidelines.
Basic understanding of marketing principles and how motion graphics and static designs fit into overall marketing and branding strategies.
