The job

Take it to the next level and join TeamOut, where you'll help build our market supply of incredible venues for some of the world's most innovative companies to host their team retreats. This Business Development Representative position will enable you interacting directly with unique resorts, hotels, ranches, and more every day.

  • Our team is very friendly and appreciates a good laugh; you'll wake up every day with a smile and can work from anywhere, provided you operate within US timezones.
  • Grow your experience in the travel and tech industry while learning valuable business development skills, sales skills, travel knowledge, strategy, and more with this paid internship.

What your exciting job will look like:

  • You will research and evaluate top venues around the world that are perfect for team retreats, and assist with onboarding them to the TeamOut.com platform.
  • You will collaborate with the head of business development and the sales team on a daily basis.
  • You will gain an understanding of the perfect venue for corporate retreats.
  • You will guide venue managers through the onboarding process, demonstrating your expertise of the platform and sales skills to help us grow our supply of venue partners.
  • You will handle special research requests from the sales team and assist with getting these venues onboarded.
  • You will develop relationships with venue partners and help them understand how to use our platform and the benefits of hosting corporate retreats on weekdays.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills:

  • 1-2+ years of previous sales experience.
  • Available to work on the US timezone.
  • Native English speaker.
  • Have traveled around the USA and internationally (enjoy travel).
  • Passionate about building and fostering relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, goal-oriented, and great at research.
  • Driven to join a promising, early-stage company.
  • Bonus: Great at crafting the perfect email sequences and have knowledge of the travel industry.
