Overview

Support the Industrial Design team in the concept, development and execution of next generation bicycle components.

Key Responsibilities

-Assisting and executing the development of projects from concept through production.
-Individual exploration of blue-sky concept-projects.
-Coordinating the use and maintenance of the industrial design shop.
-Creation of a portfolio containing all work completed at SRAM.

Qualifications

-Working towards or completed a BA/BS/BSA in Industrial Design or equivalent.
-Enthusiastic and passionate about design.
-Ability to handle many projects and tasks simultaneously.
-Detail oriented with strong work ethic.
-Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
-Proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
-Ability to work and thrive in a global team environment.
-Good demonstration of skill in the following: Ergonomic Exploration, CAD Modeling, Problem Solving, Model Making, Graphic Development, Material and Processes, and Sketching.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range for this role is $17 - $25 per hour based on skills and experience level.
