The Company

Our mission is to bring high quality English education to every English learner in the world by connecting students from 150+ countries with native English-speaking tutors at the touch of a button. Come help us build the world’s largest English language learning marketplace.

The Role

We’re looking for a self-starting, curious, and communicative product marketer who is passionate about bringing new concepts, ideas, and solutions to unique markets across the world. As our first outbound product marketer, you will design and build a world-class, global go-to-market motion and act as the connective tissue between our product and marketing organizations. Cambly offers a unique set of challenges, as our GTM teams sit in local offices serving their respective regions across Europe, Middle East, APAC, and LATAM. As our outbound PMM, you will work closely with all regional managers to ensure we are bringing new products and features to market successfully across countries and audiences.

What you’ll be doing

Partner closely with product management, design, and research, to inform product roadmaps, identify core customer benefits of features and experiences, and develop clear and cohesive go-to-market strategies

Own global outbound product marketing strategy and execution from end-to-end, ensuring decisions are data-driven and aligned to broader business goals

Represent and champion the “voice of the customer” by considering and prioritizing feedback from multiple internal and external stakeholders

Manage truly global launches, spanning across 5 continents, and 15+ primary countries with local teams — which translates to varying cultures, personas, pain points, pricing and packaging strategies, and value propositions.

Lead collaboration across multiple teams and establish processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of these working relationships

Partner with go-to-market leaders in the development and execution of marketing campaigns from strategy, to concept, to delivery. This includes creative concepting and brief development, facilitating campaign asset development, A/B test setup, identifying target segments, tracking results, and iterating

Present global Product Marketing strategies, plans, and results to senior leadership with confidence and demonstrate deep understanding across all areas of the business

Preferred background

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

5+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally in consumer-facing digital products, with a consistent record of developing and implementing successful product marketing programs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and effectively present ideas across a broad range of internal and external audiences

Ability to use insights, data, and statistical analyses to drive go-to-market decisions and optimize campaign strategies

Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate optimally at all levels and functions of the organization.

Have a bias towards action. Not afraid to work and make decisions autonomously. Self-directive tendencies to come to the table with recommended solutions vs. just the problems.

Passion for education, language learning, and Cambly’s mission.
