About Factored Quality:

At Factored, we're building one of the last missing pieces of modern commerce infrastructure: a platform for consumer brands to manage their quality control inspections.

Factored was started by a team of software engineers, data scientists, and supply chain managers - all focused on one goal: enable entrepreneurs to bring their products to market faster, simpler, and cheaper. We worry about managing brands’ quality control so they don't have to. We aim to redefine how quality control is managed, and need strong engineers to make it happen.

At FQ, you’ll support every aspect of the business, developing a holistic understanding of our customers and product. Our team is composed of 12 folks across our US and Hong Kong offices. We've raised more than $7.1 Million to date from an incredible team of investors and operators like Amity Ventures, Dynamo Ventures, Vinyl VC and Y-Combinator.

What we’re looking for:

Factored Quality is searching for a Marketing Coordinator to join the team. Our ideal candidate is someone who:

• Experience helping to strategize and implement a go to market playbook and the ability to help build and evangelize new processes across several teams
• A clear, jargon-free communication style, and a track record of translating features and capabilities into values and benefits
• A customer-centric perspective on building products and product messaging, and a drive to spend time with FQ’s customers to inform messaging decisions
• A track record of helping to drive adoption and revenue through marketing campaigns
• Comfortability with data and metrics and the ability to leverage data to form conclusions and tell a story
• An excellent ability to communicate and to craft and tell a narrative
• True passion for technology
• Experience with marketing platforms and tools including Google Ads and Paid Search, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Hubspot

The Job:

We’re looking to bring on a Marketing Coordinator to help Factored Quality navigate it’s next stage of growth.

Core categories of responsibilities for this role will be to serve as point for:

• Use quantitative and qualitative research to help define messaging and positioning of current and new products, and ensure that the team is equipped to communicate FQ's value in market
• Be obsessed with our customer problem statements and how FQ's software can alleviate them
• Be the voice of FQ’s customer, informed by consistent assessment of customer needs, the market landscape, and the uniqueness of FQ’s value proposition
• Help drive a cross-functional go-to-market process, including partnership with key stakeholders and tracking key success metrics
• Collect and utilize data to make decisions about product launch strategy and campaigns
• Clearly and concisely articulate FQ’s value proposition for our customer types and ensure that the team is equipped to communicate our value in market
• Help build and implement a robust and data driven go-to-market plan for new products and features
• Collaborate with FQ’s Product and Revenue teams to establish effective two-way communication with our product users and incorporate their feedback
• Plan and execute both in-person and virtual industry events
• Author blog posts and press releases to evangelize FQ’s product and organization; own our social media presence and curate engagement over a variety of platforms
• Keep FQ’s website fresh and up-to-date with new and dynamic content

Working Hours:

Factored Quality is headquartered in NYC and operates primarily by 9am -5pm EST standard hours.

• For roles being hired for in the Americas, or Europe:

  The expectation is you maintain 4-5 hours over overlap between 9am -5pm EST (as examples: if Europe based, you may work the equivalent of 7am - 2pm EST or if US West Coast based, you may work the equivalent 12pm - 8pm EST).

• For roles being hired for in Asia:

  The expectation is you maintain primary overlap with our HK based team (GMT +8), and occasionally maintain flexibility to coordinate with teams based in the US or in Europe

Because our team is global however, there are meetings that are occasionally meetings scheduled outside of traditional 9am -5pm EST working hours. That being said, we trust all team members to manage their schedules and to take appropriate measures to take care of themselves and their wellbeing.
