Role description
We are now looking for an ambitious and motivated Business Development Intern to join our team in Berlin.
In this role, you will work closely with our commercial team to support and scale our go-to-market efforts. You will gain hands-on experience across sales, growth, and marketing by learning how to source and engage the right prospects, analyze customer data, and contribute to key strategies that drive revenue growth.
This internship is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or aspiring professional looking to build a career in a commercial field.
Over 6 months, you’ll gain valuable skills and exposure across business development, with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
What you’ll do:
- Identify prospects, build lead lists, and research market segments and personas to support targeted sales strategies
- Support sales leaders by triaging inbound requests, scheduling and attending meetings, and drafting follow-ups to ensure smooth customer engagement
- Assist in organizing attendance at conferences and managing follow-ups
- Work within our CRM to track activities, create reports, and analyze data to drive actionable insights.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and refine collateral like presentations, one-pagers, reports, and messaging
- Work with teams across marketing, customer success, and leadership to gain exposure to different areas of the business.
What we look for:
- Initial experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., internship, part-time work, or similar).
- A commercial mindset with an eagerness to learn; a business degree or similar background is a plus
- Exceptional level of attention to detail and structured work
- Tech-savvy with a natural ability to understand and navigate technical concepts, tools, and systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills: you can empathise, earn trust, and influence stakeholders
- Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments

- Location: Berlin, combining remote work with office days in our Gleisdreieck Park location
- Duration: 6 months, option to extend or transition into a full-time role
