Position: Temp-to-Perm

Location: This position offers remote work from New York. Please be aware that applications from candidates residing outside of New York will not be considered.

OVERVIEW

Movement Strategy is looking for a Temp-to-Perm Senior Art Director to be a creative lead on a brand/lifestyle account. You will report to the Associate Creative Director and work closely with members across Account, Strategy, Social Content & Engagement, Project Management, Design, Production, Influencer Marketing, and Data Insights. The SENIOR ART DIRECTOR will be a creative driver who takes ownership of projects from brief to delivery with their creative solutions and contributes to evolving creative work in the agency.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and offer innovative ideas for creative briefs and strategy. Ask questions and challenge the status quo in pursuit of delivering unique ideas alongside the ACD and GCD.
- Experience working on teams that create and deliver high-volume and fast-paced Social deliverables across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Responsible for concepting with the team to deliver proactive creative ideas while maintaining a cohesive brand look, voice, and identity.
- Holistic thinker and doer, master of craft with a sharp design eye and skills.
- Can design, mock, collaborate on copy, and execute alongside department and creative counterparts from concept to completion.
- Stays on the pulse of industry and social trends, bringing new ideas to the table with the goal of expanding clients’ appetites.
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
- Solutions oriented. Contribute to creative efficiencies and process optimizations with ACD and GCD.


QUALIFICATIONS + KEY FOCUS AREAS

- 5+ years experience in an agency with social-centric ideas involving organic, UGC, paid, or social integrations within 360 campaigns.
- College degree with a focus in Art Direction or Design preferred.
- Experience working on Retail and/or CPG brands is a plus!
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere or After Effects), plus any additional skills that enhance your ability to communicate ideas with visuals that ‘ooh’ and rationale that ‘ahhs.’
- Work client PST hours as needed for projects.
- Partners successfully with other creatives and across cross-functional teams.
- Innovative concepting skills and dynamic presentation style. Skilled in storytelling through deck-building and pitching.
- A self-starter who takes ownership of projects and develops solutions that show off their creative approach to asks.
- Mentor and guide working creative teams, from junior to mid-level, to set them up for success.
- Confident, professional and comfortable being client-facing. Contribute to building positive relationships.
- Excellent time management across multiple projects, organizational skills, and a responsive communicator in a remote setting.
- Genuine team player with a positive, go-getter attitude.
- Can elaborate on portfolio projects. What was your role and responsibilities? How did you drive the creative delivery?

HOURLY COMPENSATION

In compliance with local and state law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles that will be performed in New York City, Colorado, and California. The range listed is just one component of Movement Strategy’s total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation varies based on location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, years of relevant experience, qualifications, and certifications or other professional licenses held. Movement Strategy prides itself on providing competitive salaries and actively works to ensure there is pay equity across the company.

Pay Range: $45-53 per hour
