About us

Dashworks is on a mission to make humanity omniscient. It's the first place you need to go to find answers about anyone or anything at work. We’re on a path to redesign the future of collaboration and knowledge sharing and have the unique opportunity to design a category-defining product that is used by millions daily.

We have reached a pivotal stage in our journey; we launched a few months ago and are working with some of the fastest-growing startups in the world: https://techcrunch.com/2022/01/28/dashworks-is-a-search-engine-for-your-companys-sprawling-internal-knowledge.

Joining right now would mean you ride the wave of explosive top-of-the-funnel growth yet get meaningful equity in a pre-series A startup.

We have an experienced product and NLP team from places like Google, Microsoft, Amazon Alexa, and Facebook. As the primary designer of our product team, you'll have an opportunity to make an outsized impact on our growing customer base.

Role and responsibilities

What you'll work on

  • Design and maintain a scalable, reusable, and consistent component library for the Dashworks web app

  • Work on UIX projects end-to-end (from user feedback to design, code changes, and deployment). We're a lean product team with an ambitious goal for 2023 to become the team with the highest shipping velocity 🚀 We try and do this by owning projects through their lifecycle and minimizing handoffs.

  • Help with design for features, improvements, and fixes for projects owned by engineers

  • As and when time permits, help with the design of marketing collateral

You qualify if you have

  • 5+ years of experience in designing delightful, sticky, and viral SaaS applications

  • Strong experience in wireframing, mapping user journeys, UX design, and UI design

  • Familiarity with designing marketing collateral

  • Experience with ReactJS or other JS frameworks and familiarity with development best practices

What we look for

  • Deep interest in generative AI/NLP and its potential to change the way we work

  • Familiarity with best practices, combined with the ability to think out of the box to design new experiences and UIX patterns that are enabled by new technology

  • Intuitive grasp of how to design sticky and viral products

  • Design process based on quick feedback and iterations

  • Strong belief and passion for enabling our mission to Make Humanity Omniscient.

We're working hard to create an environment where we all feel empowered to do our very best work, make a significant impact, and enjoy what we do. You'll have a massive say in defining our culture as an early team member. You'll also have uncapped opportunities for growth, learning, and exposure to different business areas.

Here are Dashworks’ essential benefits:

  • A competitive salary - regularly reviewed to make sure you're always getting what you deserve.

  • Meaningful equity - you'll own a part of Dashworks and share in our success.

  • Home office setup + hardware/software coverage: get a laptop, and whatever hardware, software, or services you need and are reasonable to do your job

  • Option to work from our sunny loft in SOMA in SF. We'll cover travel expenses if you plan to come to work in person.

  • Healthcare, vision, dental, and mental health coverage

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Quarterly team retreats

Interview process
