ABOUT US
We provide magical in-home chefs who prepare weekly meal prep for busy families in the US. Parents use Dinner Elf to spend more quality time with their kids instead of cooking dinner and cleaning up.
ROLE: CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Respond to customer and chef texts/emails (via HelpScout)
- Proactively review appointment activity for action items
- Adjust appointment dates, payments, etc
- Perform non-time-sensitive administrative tasks
- Attend weekly video calls with your supervisor
- Return a customer's phone call (infrequent)
ROLE: CHEF HIRING
- Review chef candidate resumes
- Engage in text conversations to gather more information
- Conduct online interviews and trial appointments
- Use good judgment to select or reject candidates
- Guide candidates through the onboarding process
- Monitor the progress of new chefs
HOURS
You'll work 9am-5pm MST Monday to Friday with an unpaid hour for lunch.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- 5+ years of experience in remote customer service
- Quick and smart learner
- Excellent written English
- Good spoken English
- Strong, empathetic customer service skills with a big heart
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of your work
- Collaborative (you want to participate in the growth of the company)
- Tech savvy and a quick learner with new software
- Think independently and make executive judgments
- Preferred: You cook at home
- Preferred: Experience with interviews/hiring
