Role Overview: Social and Community Lead
We’re seeking a Social and Community Lead to play a crucial role in shaping Lombard’s community and social presence. This remote role will focus on managing our community’s satisfaction, creating vibrant spaces on Discord and Twitter, running community campaigns, managing a social calendar, developing and posting engaging content, and overseeing day-to-day moderator activities. This role will be pivotal in building and nurturing Lombard’s community relationships, particularly within the Bitcoin and DeFi ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Create and execute impactful social and community campaigns that drive engagement and awareness.
- Social Calendar Management: Design and maintain a social content calendar that highlights Lombard’s progress and community engagement initiatives.
- Community Development: Build and manage Lombard’s community on Discord and Twitter, fostering an engaging and positive environment.
- Content Strategy: Develop content that aligns with Lombard’s mission, from tweets to AMA events, ensuring a consistent tone of voice that balances trustworthiness with an edgy DeFi vibe.
- Ecosystem Partnerships: Collaborate with ecosystem partners, including chains, exchanges, custodians, and institutions, to expand Lombard’s influence.
- Moderator Oversight: Manage community moderators, ensuring smooth daily interactions and effective handling of community queries and issues.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must Have:
- Builder-Owner Mindset: Willingness to take full ownership of community strategies, from ideation to execution.
- Crypto Expertise: Strong background in the crypto space, with an understanding of DeFi and Bitcoin ecosystems to hit the ground running.
- Engaging Tone of Voice (TOV): Ability to strike the right balance between professionalism and the playful edge that resonates with DeFi communities.
- Relationship Building Skills: Proven ability to work with diverse ecosystem partners, including chains, exchanges, custodians, and institutions.
