Role Overview

We're seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team and help shape the future of DevOps education. The ideal candidate will combine strong design skills with a deep understanding of user needs and business needs. They would lead all product design efforts solving key challenges in imparting learning experiences to both b2c and b2b audiences. Working closely with partners in engineering, product, business - this person will shape learning experiences that drive our winning strategy. 

Key Responsibilities

- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our learning platform and related products

- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative product features

- Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across our products

- Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data insights

Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in product design, preferably in ed-tech or B2B SaaS

- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional taste in craft and visual design skills

- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite

- Experience with design systems and component-based design

- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with technology development/programming concepts and tools

- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
