We are looking for an ambitious New Business Representative to support our efforts in engaging new partnerships across the digital health and health plan space, lead pipeline development and conduct research on market intelligence. As a New Business Representative, you'll help generate new business through our inbound sales funnel. You will be the first point of contact for new companies we work with. You'll work closely with Account Executives to drive successful progress towards our revenue acquisition goals. The ideal candidate is customer centric, resilient, challenges the status quo, and is enthusiastic starting their career in tech sales.

What we're looking for in this role

  • You have experience in leading cross-functional initiatives, managing projects with several moving pieces and stakeholders, and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
  • You are excited about sales and partnerships and are looking for an opportunity to think strategically on new ways to drive revenue
  • You have exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and effectively organize and convey your thoughts and ideas
  • You thrive in ambiguous environments. When the path forward is uncertain, you push forward to find creative solutions

Your day-to-day

  • Identify and generate new partnership opportunities through research that aids in driving towards Sale’s revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to propose and execute a targeted outbound sales approach
  • Track all relevant qualification and lead generation activity through a CRM and create forecasting analysis for the Sales team
  • Develop account intelligence relationship maps and use case opportunities through prospecting and direct account engagement 
  • Project manage key initiatives that are critical to scaling Ribbon’s revenue generating partnerships 
  • Create and refine internal processes and metrics to scale the Sales Team’s efforts

We seek to make Ribbon the best career decision anyone’s ever made. Part of fulfilling this vision is a compelling total compensation package. The base salary range for this role is between $55K-$63K. In addition to base salary and long-term incentive, this position also has variable compensation/commission. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
