The Role

We are looking for a highly talented and driven Founding Engineer to join our team at Porter. As a full-stack engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product and company by owning projects end-to-end, working closely with the founders, and directly engaging with customers. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from concept to launch, ensuring the highest quality standards and timely delivery.
• Collaborate closely with the founders and other team members to develop innovative and user-centric solutions for our customers.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and iterate on our product to continuously improve and meet their expectations.
• Contribute to the company's strategic direction by actively participating in decision-making processes and providing valuable insights.
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment where you'll touch every aspect of the business, gaining invaluable experience and honing your skills.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a startup environment, building products from 0 to 1.
• A strong product mindset, demonstrating a deep understanding of user needs and the ability to create innovative solutions that address those needs.
• A track record of shipping products and going through the full product development cycle, from writing the first line of code to placing the product in the hands of users and iterating quickly based on feedback.
• Experience across the entire stack, from backend to frontend. (We currently use Typescript, React, Supabase, and are open to your preferences)
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to attract top technical talent and lead them effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
