The RoleThe Operations Analyst role calls for a finance and/or fintech professional who is highly motivated, possesses strong analytical skills, has keen attention to details, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ideally, the successful candidate should have 1-3 years experience in sales/loans operations and/or user onboarding, with a preference for experience in a digital asset or traditional finance institution. In previous roles, the top candidates will have likely contributed to the origination and lifecycle management of loans, onboarding of users and customer success. The OpportunityYou’ll join an existing team of three other operations colleagues who all have experience in traditional finance, consulting and fintech financial services. As a part of the broader operations team, you will play an integral role in managing the loan book, user onboarding and customer success on both the borrower and lender side. In this role you will be required to communicate confidently in client-facing interactions as well as collaborate cross-functionally within the Maple team to coordinate processes and actively grow the Maple platform. You will also be comfortable with working autonomously, preparing loan operations, assisting the capital markets team in pipeline management, improving operations and managing the customer life cycle from onboarding to deposited and beyond. Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of a loan including issuance, (re-)payments, collateral and documentation.

• Monitor loan book performance, including payment schedules, risk parameters, collateral health, and potential defaults.

• Conduct a comprehensive KYC/AML review for new and existing users and prepare and maintain accurate KYC records.

• Be the point of contact for lenders, borrowers and pool delegates to ensure their success as Maple users during onboarding and beyond.

• Support the capital markets team in sales operations by conducting activities that include pipeline management, running meetings, doing data analysis and other ad-hoc sales related activities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in sales/loan operations and/or user onboarding in the financial services industry.

• Understanding of loan operations, KYC/AML onboarding, data analysis and customer success.

• Passion for the digital asset and fintech industries with conviction in what Maple is building.

• Strong business instincts, results oriented, and a track record hitting and exceeding goals.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, communicate with a high degree of clarity and effectiveness

• Proficient in excel, powerpoint and other financial tools.
